Q.  How do I check for Telkom Fixed LTE coverage?

Q. Can I use any LTE router on the Telkom network?

A: Yes, the Telkom network allows any LTE router to be used. 

Q. Can I use my Telkom LTE service anywhere?

A: Yes, Telkom do not geo-lock their SIM Cards. The service can be used anywhere that you have Telkom LTE coverage.

Q.  What happens if I move home / offices?

A: No problem, Just turn on your router at your new address. You will be connected as long as you are within Telkom LTE coverage).

Q. Can I top up data?

A: Yes, just let us know how much data you need, and we’ll do it for you.

Q. Do I need to change APN settings?

A: If the router and SIM are ordered from us, it will be pre-configured for you. If a SIM only is ordered, the APN details will need to be changed. Don’t worry – we’ll help you.

Q.  Is my IP private or public?

A: Telkom will only provide a public dynamic IP address for their Fixed LTE service.

Q. Can I upgrade / downgrade my package?

A: Yes, this can be done anytime. The service change will be active from the 1st of the following month.

Q. Can I have multiple Telkom Fixed LTE services?

A: Yes, to a maximum of three (business or individual)

Q.  What happens if I sign up in the middle of the month?

A: You will be receive a pro-rata data allocation and be billed pro-rata from date of activation.

Q. What happens if my area gets fibre?

A: No problem, just let us know and we’ll do the service change for you.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A: The service can be cancelled after 6 months with 30 days’ notice.
